3X Sandpaper Sheets

3X paper is designed for the longest life and fastest cut rate when sanding all types of materials, including primed and painted surfaces. The premium p-graded aluminum oxide grain is tougher and sharper than conventional abrasive grain which gives 3X a faster cut with less pressure for a more consistent finish. The backing for 3X sandpaper incorporates a unique fiber-reinforcing to provide high tear resistance even when the sheets are folded. 3X paper has exceptional resistance to clogging and gumming when sanding painted surfaces.

The color coding makes product selection easier: coarse grit products are coated on a blue backing; medium, red backing; and fine, yellow backing. All the color is in the backing so there is no risk of color transfer onto the work piece. This is a key feature that makes this our product of choice. It's simply the best sandpaper we have found.
