The complete Restora™ Clear Vinyl Revitalizer Kit, in Lo-Lustre finish, contains everything you need to revitalize your faded vinyl – Restora™ Exterior Vinyl Cleaner, scrub brush, Flood Clear Vinyl Revitalizer and synthetic paint brush. Restora restores the color of faded vinyl from dull to vibrant in 2 easy steps: clean and revitalize. Restora Vinyl Cleaner removes dirt and surface contaminants, as well as built in contaminants such as chalk, oxidation, mildew stains and fungus stains. The Clear Vinyl Revitalizer restores weathered vinyl to a "like new" appearance, and is guaranteed not to crack, peel or blister.
Where To Use
• Use on vinyl shutters, siding, window trim, soffits and fascia, entry doors, garage doors, outdoor vinyl furniture, and other exterior vinyl surfaces.
Also available in Semi-Gloss Finish
Preparation
• Stir or shake Restora Vinyl Wash (Step 1) thoroughly.
• Cover adjacent surfaces and anything you do not wish to clean, including painted surfaces, glass, masonry and aluminum.
• Nearby plants and shrubs should be pre-wet and rinsed thoroughly with fresh water.
• Wear eye and skin protection.
• Do not apply in hot sunlight.
• Do not apply if cold or wet weather is expected within 48 hours.
Application
• Pre-wet your vinyl surface and apply Restora Vinyl Cleaner using the handy spray bottle.
• Let stand for 10 minutes, and then use the scrub brush to loosen tough dirt, chalk and oxidation.
• Next, rinse thoroughly using the highest pressure from a tap water source or use a pressure washer at 500-1000 psi (rinse adjacent surfaces at the same time).
• Repeat above steps for heavily chalked and for extremely weathered, discolored surfaces.
• After cleaning with Step 1, Flood Vinyl Wash, let dry.
• To apply Step 2, Clear Vinyl Revitalizer, mix thoroughly.
• Test a small inconspicuous area to see the reaction to surface before continuing with complete application.
• Apply finish from top to bottom thoroughly and liberally. Finish goes on milky white and dries clear.
• Smooth off evenly and pick up areas for drips and runs. Keep a wet cloth handy to clean up drips and spatters.
• If additional coat is required, it may be applied in 3-4 hours.
• When spraying and rolling, always back brush.
• For large areas, work entire lengths from end to end to convenient breaks, keeping a “wet edge” to avoid dry lap areas.
Dry Time
• Allow 2-4 hours dry time at 50 percent relative humidity and 77° F.
• Cure and dry time will vary depending on humidity and temperature.
Clean Up
• Clean up with soap and water.
• If Flood Restora Clear Vinyl Revitalizer is allowed to dry on tools, remove with paint thinner.
• After use and before resealing container, be sure to clean the threads on the mouth and the lid with a damp cloth so the container can be reopened.
