All decking and fencing products require care, and Radiance™ products are real wood and they are not an exception. Although Radiance's Thermal Modified Wood process offers a level of natural
protection that typical wood can't match, it is important to keep Radiance wood clean for optimum
beauty and protection.

Cleaning

Under typical conditions, it takes very little cleaning to maintain the natural beauty of your Radiance
Decking. Specific cleaning requirements may vary with climate, use, and traffic, but washing with a
mild detergent or outdoor house cleaner is usually enough to keep your Radiance decking looking
clean. A nylon bristle floor brush is recommended for applying and brushing in your detergent cleaning solution.

Radiance is real wood, so we advise against the use of harsh chemicals or power-washing as they can damage the finish of any wood product.

Weathering

Radiance Decking features a factory-applied, NON-VOC UV resistant coating. It is not necessary to
apply an additional sealer to Radiance Products for protection for at least a couple of years.

Radiance’s products are a rich, brown color and are designed to give clients color satisfaction for 2 years. Future color refreshing can be accomplished by applying One Time Wood Protector in Clove Brown in year 3 then about every 4-5 years. Only coat when color fade indicates rejuvenation is needed. Many clients will see extended maintenance in most cases.

Do not apply sealers or stains other than One Time Wood Protector. Application of unapproved sealers will void the manufacturer’s warranty.
